Las Vegas responded, though, as Gray once again came through with the game-winner at the buzzer. The Aces improved to 22-9 with the win and claimed sole possession of second place in the WNBA standings.

That contender-consistency test got another answer: Indiana pushed Las Vegas to overtime, but Gray's buzzer-beater left the Fever fifth. The Aces are 22-9 and alone in second. That one stings in the standings. Wilson's 26 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks put Indiana's frontcourt problem right there in the box score. Boston gave Indiana 21 and 12, but against that size, every possession got expensive. And Boston gave them a clutch lead late, Mitchell hit the go-ahead shot in OT—then Gray stole the ending.
