Rana Suit Reappears With New Witness Claims (May 12, 2026)

May 12, 2026 · 2m 0s · Listen

The Rana suit is back — and now it brought witnesses. Welcome to Banker Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Watch. I'm Cassidy, that's Devin, and we're back in the JPMorgan complaint that keeps refusing to go away. New witness claims against Lorna Hajdini — yeah, that absolutely changes the pressure here, whether JPMorgan likes it or not. Corroboration is the word every plaintiff's lawyer wants to see in a filing. So let's get into what Rana is actually alleging now. This one's from New York Post:

Ex-JPMorgan banker Chirayu Rana has filed what he claims is new evidence supporting his sex abuse allegations against executive Lorna Hajdini — including one anonymous friend who claimed he was invited for a threesome.

The anonymous witness statements contain details and quotes, and describe alleged encounters with Hajdini in September 2024.

The lawsuit — which JPMorgan insists is entirely fabricated — suddenly reappeared in the Manhattan Supreme Court docket on Monday after it was filed and then quickly pulled last week.

So the filing that got pulled last week is back on the Manhattan Supreme Court docket, and this version comes with anonymous witness statements attached — including one friend who says he was invited into a threesome with exec Lorna Hajdini. Anonymous witnesses, a filing that gets yanked and then refiled — come on. That is not how you build a serious harassment case. Fair, but JPMorgan calling it a 'complete fabrication' is not a legal defense either. That's a PR line. Courts don't hand out points for tone. Sure, but anonymous witnesses saying they got invited to a threesome are still going to get challenged hard. And the Post going viral with it doesn't magically turn it into proof. We've put links to every story from today's briefing in the show notes, so if one caught your eye, you can follow it there and read more.
