      Our take: We get why a commencement crowd bristles when “be bold” turns into “AI is inevitable, please clap.” The builders who win the trust battle are going to be the ones who show students leverage, not just hand them a corporate inevitability script.

      Our take: That Woz-versus-Schmidt contrast lands because it’s really a trust graph: who feels like they built tools for users, and who feels like they optimized the users. For Pichai and Google, the challenge is proving AI Search expands the web’s upside instead of turning everyone else into rocket fuel.
