Our take: We buy the optimism, with one caveat: the golden age is for engineers who actually like engineering, not for people whose ideal job was safely moving tickets from “in progress” to “done.” If AI eats the CRUD slog, the bar moves up to taste, systems thinking, and owning outcomes.
